For years, my roles in life have been those of a student, a pianist, and a music educator.

Throughout the journey, they told me to think outside of the box. But how?

After my graduate school audition, I somehow got lost. 

I started questioning myself: What is music all about?

I went on a trip to San Diego, the ocean, the cliffs, and the quiet moments with nature felt like a pause button on everything. I started listening —— to the waves, to the wind, to my thoughts. For the first time in a while, I felt music not as something to practice, but as something to create, with a fleeting gut feeling.

And then all those feelings layered up one piece by one piece, and oof!

They became the amazing Lasagna meal prep.
